IV. Congregations, Aided Parishes, Summer Chapels, Clusters
These records are divided into two groups. The first consists of archival records transferred to the Archives by a parish, Aided parishes (formerly missions, or chapel; these are located in Storage A and are currently unprocessed [1/99]. The second group consists of miscellaneous materials about parishes, missions, or summer chapels collected by Diocesan staff in the course of normal business and are stored in Storage C. Both groups are arranged in one alphabet by the name of the town, city, or plantation where the church, mission, or chapel is or was located; e.g. St. Nicholas, Scarborough is filed under Scarborough, St. Nicholas.
Material for each parish, aided parish, or chapel is broken down into
identical categories as follows (some folders may be empty at the moment):
