Sign-up for the Sea Dogs!!!
For some reason, ticket sales to the "Diocese Goes to the Sea Dogs"
game on Saturday, July 10, are coming in very slowly this year. If you
plan to attend, please visit www.diomaine.org/seadogs.htm
where you can print off a reservation form to send with a check or you can buy
your tickets by credit card using our secure system. We need a critical
mass of 200 or more people to make this work, so please reserve your tickets
this week.
Bishop Knudsen's sermon on-line...
Read the stellar sermon Bishop Knudsen preached at St. Andrew and St. John,
Southwest Harbor, on Trinity Sunday 2003 at www.diomaine.org/trinitysermon.htm
. Since many people have asked for a copy, we thought we'd put it on-line.
Wade in the
Water: Exploring the Waters of Baptismal Ministry
On Saturday, October 9, the Committee on Baptismal Ministry, through
support from the Lilly Foundation Grant for Pastoral Excellence, will sponsor a
day with Episcopal Divinity School professor Fredrica Harris Thompsett at St.
Patrick's, Brewer from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. "Wade in the Water"
will cover the topics of baptismal history, theology, and leadership. For
a flyer with more information on the program and to register on-lines, please
visit www.diomaine.org/cobm.htm.
Please take a few moments to fill out our brief diocesan
